My husband is turning 50 next month.  We are celebrating his birthday early this year with his family in another state.  I get to make the birthday cake.

In April, I enrolled in a cake decorating class.  I have always wanted to do this.  Well, I lasted 2 classes.  I didn't even stay long enough to learn to make the rose.  But, I did learn a few things, I have all of my decorating devices and I have been practicing.

So, here is my dilemma...what kind of cake should I make for my husband?  Should it have a theme?
What kind of theme?  There will be kids there so the "adult" cake themes are pretty much out of the
picture.  My husband likes any kind of sport, he plays golf, he reads, he likes to stay home and work on the computer...Maybe that is it..a computer cake with a blog on it...LOL 

I will keep looking for cake ideas.  Happy early Birthday to my husband.
